So Sweet Sunday Linky Party!

Happy Saturday night to everyone! As promised, I am excited to announce that tonight will kick off my first ever linky party--So Sweet Sundays! Before delving into just what this party is all about, I'd first like to open it up by sharing a sweet Easter cake that you're sure to love. It's not only super moist and flavorful, but the coconut design on top adds the perfect touch of springtime to this and any other dessert you can dream up!

Pineapple Carrot Cake with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Unfortunately, I don't have the recipe handy to post for you.... but I promise to do so this week. How could I leave you hanging? This cake is too moist and delicious, the frosting is too perfect a combination of smooth cream cheese and warm cinnamon, and those colored flakes of coconut make just too darn cute of a carrot on top! This is a recipe that all should make because all will love.

Now, on to the linky party! If you've been reading my blog then you've quickly discovered that my posts tend to revolve around two topics of discussion.... babies and food. Children are such sweet blessings and I know that many of us are mommies, aunties, grandmas and the like, all with young ones to take care of and love on. Part of my new linky party will be dedicated to all things revolving around children, whether it's something cute you've made for your baby or a rainy day activity to keep the little ones happy and occupied (and mommies stress-free and sane)! The possibilities are endless. The second part of this linky party is for those with sweet recipes to share, from a sugary baked treat to a dinner that's so easy it's, well, sweet! Bottom line, if you can make it fit within the realms of being "sweet" in any way, you are welcome (and encouraged) to share it here with us!

I'm not a huge fan of rules when it comes to these things, so I'll keep my requests short and sweet. (Ha! Get it? Even the rules are sweet! Bad joke.... I know.)

  1. Become a follower of my blog, if you haven't done so already.
  2. Link directly to a specific post and not just to your blog's homepage.
  3. Visit at least one other link from the party and leave some comment love for that person. (Come on! We all love a nice comment!)
  4. Grab my new, pretty button and put it somewhere on your blog where others can easily find it and join in on the fun!

That's it! The party will be open from now until Monday evening at 11:00 PM. Have fun and spread the word!

PS--Did I mention that I'll be picking my favorite sweet party link-up to feature on my blog later in the week? ;)
