I decided to take a few crochet orders for the Christmas season after all, which means I've (thankfully) had very busy hands the past few weeks. However, I saw this adorable craft by Rachel at Maybe Matilda and just knew I had to make it with Emma.
I followed her instructions step-by-step and the whole process went like a breeze. Well, except for the fact that little hands want to close, wave around and touch things when paint is all over them... and it took me forever and a dang day to thread an embroidery needle. Other than that, it truly was a cinch! We even made a shirt AND three kitchen towels, two of which are gifts. Gee, I wonder who the luck adoring women in her life are that can look forward to receiving them? ;)
Aaaaaand, of course, we had to girly things up a bit with a matching hair now. Am I going to be out of control when Chloe arrives or what?!
Finally, what would a cute craft post be without plenty of cute pictures to go along with it? I know you all hardly get to see any photographs of Emma and have been begging me to post more.
(If you didn't pick up on the sarcasm, just know that I am incredibly dangerous with a camera. And cute little girls. And my brand new Canon Rebel. Yeah.)
Speaking of a picture-taking addiction, my Picasa account has informed me that my free 1GB of space is full. I tried deleting a few albums but that didn't seem to help. If anyone knows a way around the system, so that I can avoid paying a monthly fee, please let me know. I'd rather not have to copy and paste image URLs from Facebook for every.single.post.
Have a wonderful turkey day, everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving!
GOBBLE! GOBBLE

Awww, just look at that beautiful girl! She really is growing up to be so darn gorgeous. And I'm so glad you guys had fun making the shirt together! Does she get excited to wear it? Forrest seems thrilled every time he puts it on, and he tries to line his hand back up with the print. You guys did a great job! Thanks for sharing :-)
