Snow Day Fun

It's not every day that Hampton Roads sees snow, so we made sure to enjoy every bit of the winter wonderland we were blessed with this weekend. Scott and I were all too excited to watch Emma experience her first taste of the white fluffy stuff;she, on the other hand, wanted nothing much to do with it. We have a girly-girl on our hands, people!

As you can plainly see, Emma didn't find much enjoyment in making snowballs and Daddy found way too much of it in throwing them!

Insulted? Indignant?

Why. yes. I think so.

I should mention that our teeny tiny two-year-old is wearing an 18 month snow suit in these pictures... and her sock monkey hat from last year. I'm always amazed at how a 9 lb 2 oz newborn ended up being so small--25th percentile, to be exact! Any guesses to how big her baby sister will be? From the look and feel of things, I'd say she'll follow closely in miss Emma's footsteps!!

It was a wonderfully fun and productive weekend in our home. We're all good and tired. In fact, I think there's a foot spa downstairs that's calling my name...

Happy Sunday, everyone!

  1. Very fun pictures! As far as her weight, I wonder the same thing about Thomas. He started 9'11 and is now in about the 25% for weight too! Crazy. I am glad you guys got some snow... and hopefully Emma will learn to enjoy it. :)
